"Witches' Brew" is the second of a series of 2021 singles by Heavy Whipped Cream. This hazy, nocturnal jam represents the flipside to the band's previous single, the spring-like "Does She Know?," a song characterized by clear vocal harmonies reminiscent of a bright morning. "Witches' Brew," in contrast, takes from droning sixties psych rock, the heated funk of Curtis Mayfield, and the sweaty guitar of work of contemporary bands such as Khruangbin and Altın Gün.
